>>Does anyone here use frozen mice to feed their snake? Right now my ball python is eating a small mouse about every 2 weeks. I really need to switch to pre-killed mice, but I can't find any stores that sell them. I was looking at buying them online, but the places I saw only sold them in 50packs. That many would last me a year! Will they "go bad" or get freezer burn? Anyone know where I could buy them in the Tampa, Fl area? Thanks!
Most of us use frozen/thawed mice. I purchased 300 (100 pinkies, 200 fuzzies) from RodentPro.com. So far, I haven't had any problems. Just make sure you get as much air out of the bag as possible before putting it back into the freezer. Just remember that the more you buy, the less it is per food item. Initially, I thought "EXPENSIVE" but when I thought it through, it just made more sense. Good luck with your BP!
