Thank you Karen. Now that's a dragon that looks the way she did when she was here. She is looking great.

For the breeders,,, Karen is a great person too. Great to chat with, etc. Good people. And she loves her dragons.

Thanks Karen.

Joel, ya know she actually "is" getting more colorful. The orange/red seems to be intensifying. She still has more of an orange overtone but her head is really starting to look red.
She's awesome!!!!
P.S. Thanks for the compliment.
Take care,
Karen

The other one you were looking at was 211 with the red dots. Damin got her. I'm still waiting to see a pic of her. She was in full shed when I shipped her out so I'm dieing to see how she looked when she came out. lol

I'll see if I can get him to get a pic of her too.

Thanks again guys, I'm glad to see you are happy with them.

Oh,,, I take them out after I hear back that who ever has bought them is happy with them so other people don't keep saying,, Hey,, I want 212,, etc. If you want the original pic I posted of them, let me know and I'll e-mail it to you.

Later.

there that is an expert with bearded dragons?

barker109 Jul 23, 2003 10:33 PM

CheriS, I live near Columbia, Mo. but I know where Bridgeton is.
Up by St. Louis. My family lives in the southern part of St. Louis. Could you tell me the name of the vet. I have a nice red dragon over six months old and only 9-10 inches. Nobody around here knows what to do. It would be worth a trip up there to see if this vet could help her. Let me know!!!
Thanks,
Karen

Dr Dan Wentz, works at the Ferguson Animal Hospital 314/524-0707. He also co owns at petstore called Exotic Pets The Right Way, 12368 Natural Bridge Rd, Bridgeton, Missouri 63044 314/738-0010. he is the Vet/Researcher that has done several years studies of virus in bearded dragons and also have developed the fecal test to detect Andeovirus, the only test that exist to detect it in live animals. His amd another researcher are sequencing the DNA of it to make a test that can be sued more widely.

Wonderful man and vet! He does all this research out of his own pocket and I believe that he alone is a big factor in the decline of adenovirus in bearded dragons we are seeing this year. His test allowed many owners animals to be tested and trace the path to the source and halt breeding of them. He is currently working on studying diet needs of bearded dragons. I think he is one of the most knowledgable vets in the country for the bearded dragon species and his heart is really into them.
