dead eastern hognose

I also bought one eastern hognose that died 4 days after i purchased it 100 dollars for my son's christmas present that died

would not eat a pinky i should have tried frogs.

how long does it take a snake to starve to death not 4 days i am guessing.

are you sure it was dead? they play dead regularly lol...

Sorry to say this, but it was not a laughing matter. My temps were 70 at one side and 80 at the other. It was a six month old snake about as thick as a pencil when i got it 4 days later she died. Hognose are fat snakes. Look at the pictures of the other 6 month old snakes. When they play dead they lie on their back with their mouths open. She was curled up like she was sleeping and when i touched her you could feel the stench of death.

and not that you want to hear this now,but eastern hogs ar enot beginner snakes...great as they are,i would suggest something with simpler food requirements.
