Since dragons are roughly 3-4" at birth (head to tail) and weight 1.5-3.5 grams, depending on the growth rate, 2-3 weeks sounds about right. Though, if underfed or otherwise not cared for properly, it could be older.

When we got this dragon at a show, the breeder was not sure about his hatch date and she said he was 5-6 weeks. We felt that he couldn't be that old because of his size but didn't know for sure. We got him on August 28th. That would put him at about 4 months old and today he weighs 168 grams and is 15 inches long. She was not even exactly sure what he was. He has become a brilliant orange color. We have always wondered exactly how old he is and what he is. This is a picture of him when we got him. He was only as big as the end of my finger.
