They all look good! Gives me hope for my neonates that are dulling every few weeks to shed. There's beauty behind that sloughing skin!

Very good pics too. You're not as bad as you think... cause I'm far worse! LOL.

freya, thor, and lilith are all wiccan gods

GREAT... don't ruin it for me now... I named them from the gods of Norse mythology. One of these days the "father god" will also be in my collection... ODIN! LOL.

naaza came from some story line he was a snake god....

degei was a snake god also....

nuit was an egyptian goddess, known as the sky mother.
those are my 3 corn snakes.

my ball pythons are durga and devi,
durga was a evil goddess and devi killed her and then became durga.... making her a good goddess..... that is a hindu belief i think... i read that story some where.

then my sugar glider is named morgan, morgan was a warrior goddess and also double as the lady of the lake....

im wiccan so i like reading about the different gods and goddesses

So what does "raisnok" mean? And also, since I respect all others and their religious views (don't necessarily agree with them, but respect them), I hope you weren't offended by me saying, "Don't ruin it for me now...".

I love Greek/Roman/Norse mythology and many other "mythos" as well. I have some learning to do about Vishnu and Shiva as well as the Middle-Eastern mythology.

I often name my animals from mythology... I had a "pacman" frog called "Gilgamesh" a few years ago, as well as an emperor scorpion named "Enkidu".

There's one person (can't think of him right now, but it might be "Hotshot" ) who names his creatures after X-men! Great names!

Take it easy!

no that did not offend me, actually it takes quiet a bit to offend me.... not much to hurt my feelings, i seem to wear my heart on my sleeve most people say.
you asked what raisnok meant, at the time i got my first computer i got the name from my 3 dogs i had at the time, i combined them.....
rai from rainer a little black pekingese
sno from snoball a little white pekingese
k from kako(i call her k) a black chow chow

i also use the name snoraik from time to time, the names stuck with me, most of my good friends just call me "nok" for short.

well it would seem that way..... as most wiccans have a "wiccan screen name" this name meant more to me because of where it came from, and where i came from.
snoball was the first dog to come live with me, i was trying to get myself together, and wanted a reason, she became that reason for me to look foreward.
after doing well for a while rainer came, both have passed away, snoball of kidney failure in 2000 she was 12.
rainer passed away in 2004 she was 15.
k is still with me she is 9 years old, k came to live with me because she was being abused as a puppy and i talked the people who had her into letting me give her a home, "she was not show quality" but she has made a very dear friend and a beautiful dog, yet very spoiled i have been shoved off my bed probably 700 times by her....LOL

Having lost pets before, my condolences to you. It seems, though, that they lived long happy lives with you and were happy to be with you. I'm so glad that you're willing to go that extra mile to give your current one a happy home.

That's the thing that surprised me about snakes when I was doing research on them. I didn't realize that they had such longevity! I told my son (9 yrs) that if I took care of my snakes, he'd probably be married and having kids before they died. He was amazed by that. He now wants a BP and I have to remind him that he has to think carefully, because if the BP lives long, his future wife might not be too pleased about it! LOL.

Take it easy!
