If I can arange a trip to Margarita how many people would like to go? Mission, to update the webpage with some nice pics. No intrest Max and I will have to sholder the burden ourselves. Its a rough life.

I would love to go back, the last time I was there, I knew nothing of the cribo's.
Problem is I don't have Uncle Sam to pay for the trip this time.

Margarita Island is a beautiful place, though I am unaware of anyone having the luck of locating D. margaritae. Not too surprising, as only a single specimen has been found and the sub is described from this holotype specimen alone.
While I have yet to locate a published photo of the holotype D. margaritae, I have found the best descriptive of the sub to be contained within a study published by Wuster et al. (2001), which can be viewed online at the following link:

Here are some recent photos of El Yaque Beach and Hotel. Even if no cribos are found, the island is a great place to visit and quite inexpensive to boot!

If we make it one year from now then we should all be able to save our pennys or sell off some surplus animals to fund the adventure. Max will start looking into airfairs, acomidations etc...
