anyone have any tips for Florida snake hunting in December

toppy Dec 13, 2005 10:50 AM

I am going to Ft Myers next week and was thinking of hitting Leigh High Acres for snakes ect. any tips from Florida floks about herping in December with temps at night down to the 50's and daytime temps at 70-80. Can you road cruise at dusk with those temps or is it all flipping tin.

Let me know

There's certainly a lot of debris out there thanks to all the storms in the past two years. I think as long as the winds are light you will be able to cruise a few critters..
Good luck.
