Looks like she's coming along nicely - you might want to suck it up and just let her bite you a couple of times to show her that her scare tactic is not working. Also try wearing a t-shirt for a couple of days when its good and smelly put it in her cage for her to hide in - she'll start to associate your smell with security and it might help to calm her during holding. Wait until she is out crusing around the cage to take her out and don't have her out for very long - just let her get used to you holding her.

Or you could just have a [bleep] snake - one of my het clown females was like that - with a little work and time she outgrew it she's a pussy cat now.

She is a very nice ball python, some great pattern. In the picture she does look like she wants to strike. I am sure she will grow out of it in time, once she realizes you are not going to eat her. Young balls really don't bite that hard...I have been biten by mine, it bled but it didn't really hurt, but she did get me on the finger, it may have hurt more if it was the fleshy part of my hand instead. But the bites are far from excruciating painful, heck i still feel a papercut stings much more LOL.

She's pretty. I hope that she calms a bit for you. I know that I'd be frustrated if my ball python were a biter. Mine yawns sometimes, and her open mouth can be startling.

It's not how many snakes you have. It's how happy and healthy you can keep them.
