I just cleaned my new 40 gallon. I used glass cleaner and now, I realize it had ammonia. It doesn't smell safe for a reptile. What do I need to do to make it safe? And how do I re-silicon the plastics? Thanks.

i believe they make cleaners for herp cages on the market, but as long as you scrub and rinse the cage out with PLENTY of water after teh glass cleaner you use, you should be okay if what i have read about cleaners is acurate. i always rinse my cages with alot of water after disinfection. Resilicon? you mean for glass? you can purchase tubes of the stuff from hardware or home improvement stores, you will need an additional tool to squeeze the material out of the tube. simply go to a hardware store and ask. hope that helps.
