This snake was one of the offspring I produced in the early 90s from a breeding of two WC Tanzanian colubrinus. I kept this baby back since she was so dark just to see how she turned out. To be honest, she didn't turn out that nice!

I finally sold her to someone else at about 5 years of age.

I need to make a better scan of her

it would have been interesting to have found a dark male for her and see what kind of babies could have been made.

I don't know where she ended up. I sold her to someone at an expo and don't remember who or when. She was born on November 17th, 1993, so she should be a big adult girl by now.

Yea thats a dark one alright. I was kind of interested to how this was going to turn out, when in was a neonate it had no black flecking where the orange should be and the orange was tan, almost a cream color instead. It had a very clean patern and it just got darker with each shed, it was getting alot darker per shed than any other, and I was beging to wonder. she is know around 225g and has stayed pretty much the same with the last two sheds so I think she may be done. Also the eyes are differnt(white), although you really can't tell in that photo. I can't figure out how to crop the picture and blow up just the head. When I blow up the whole photo its too big to upload.

That granite looking snake is really nice. Any pics of an adult with this pattern?

I've you post a pic of that snake before and in the beginning was thinking that this female may come close to that dark. I don't think it will happen know. She still has alot of growing to do but she'll probably stay pretty much the same.
How old is the one in that pic.
