Wild caught Ruthven's King

Aaron Dec 13, 2005 08:10 PM

This is a photo of the original het striped/abberrant Ruthven's King that was collected by Lloyd Lemke in the early 80's. He is still alive and produced feritle eggs with a captive born het for nothing female last year. The photo is by Peter Heimes, copyright 2005 and was used by permission.

Nice snake Aaron. I like the abberant/striped Ruthies and the Albinos, but it's hard to find normal "het for nothing" ones anymore. They are more rare than your striped ones! Does anyone know where to find ones that are not albino, striped, or het for either trait?

I got my female normal (het for nothing) from Ric Blair. He gave it to me last year as an adult and said he produced her about 8 years ago.
