screen house

Hi eveyone! Just thought I'd pass on a quick and easy way to get some natural sunlight to our little guys. I bought one of those adjustable screens at home depot that you fit in your window, about 18" high. I think they're really for if you don't already have a screen. Well, I open the window, put Scout on the window ledge, (make sure you have no holes, and your screen is secure!), then I put the adjustable screen on the inside, and there you have it! Scout loves to run up and down the screen and watch the birds, or anyone who happens to be in the back yard. The sunlight streams in on him (but its not too hot here in Maine!), and I think the fresh air and natural sunlight is good for him. He always has a huge appetite when he returns to his cage. I put a little slate lean-to in there for him to get out of the sun, or the breeze, if he needs too. Sometimes he curls up there and sleeps. He really seems to love it in there!
Take care all!
Kim
