Hi this is in response to my mite question below. Sorry it took me so long to reply. My quarantine are is actually in my garage. My reptile room is on the other side of the building. The enclosures I use are sterilite Tupperware sort of enclosures with nothing but paper towels cut to size and a small glass water dish. I inspect and remove each individual every single day, Treat it with mite meds and toss out the old paper towels, cut new ones, clean the enclosure and water bowl, While I am cleaning the enclosure said lizard has already had its external meds and soaks in water for up to 20 minutes while I am cleaning its enclosure. I have found this to be very effective as so far I am getting rid of a lot of mites and have already cleared and added 3 Sceloporus Occidentalis to my collection in the reptile room.
