Did heshe show the blood color when it was a baby? Do they get sunlight regularly, or uv bulb?

Basically I am trying to find out if you did anything special to get them red like that.

Thanks!

She was brown with red/orange highlights when she was younger. Her color varies between a lighter orange (she's the lightest when she gets a warm bath) and the darker red seen in the pictures. She usually gets the "reddest" after a day in her outside enclosure. I am not sure if this is from the high UVB or from the brightness of the sun. She was raised using mercury vapor lights and then started getting fairly regular sunlight at about 6 months. It may simply be genetic as her mother was very red (check the link for a picture of her mom). Here's a picture of her as a baby.
