Green stools

lichanura Dec 14, 2005 02:15 PM

I haven't had a sick snake in a long time. I recently acquired a baby black-headed python that is not eating and has green excretion. If I remember correctly, this indicates a protozoan infection. Can I get any assistance on this? Thanks, Dave.

Amoebic Dysentary comes to mind.....

I would take a fresh stool sample & the animal to a vet for a checkout as soon as you can.

Best to see a vet for the determination.
