i left her in the incubator for the afternoon but put her in her tank around 6-6:30. then went out to petco and when i came back, she was still on the cool side of the tank (squished behind her water dish and the tank wall) and i was worried she wouldn't find her humid hide. so i picked her up, gently, and plopped her down in the humid hide...she was hissing at me and looked very pissed but i think she was happy that i put her there because she walked around it once, and then plopped down to sleep on the wet paper towels. i guess baby leos are just like every other kind of baby animal, you have to show them some things or else they won't know to use it themselves (or they can't find it). compared to the hatchlings at petco, she looks great!!! bright eyes, clear nostrils, full body, and good sized tail. i hope she sheds some time this week, because i would like to get some food in her before i go away (i have baby crickets ready as well as some smaller mealies and waxies too).
