Do all three Argentine species (Reds, B&Ws, and Blues) hibernate? Do their hibernation behaviors differ at all?
thanks,
Josh

Tupinambis merianae and Tupinambis rufescens definitely hibernate.
As for blues, that kind of depends. If the St.Pierre's earlier assertions are true (that it is from Colombia and is a subspecies of Tupinambis teguixin) then they wouldn't be a hibernator.
If they are what some other people claim, a color morph of Tupinambis merianae, then they likely do hibernate.
If it comes from Argentina like you say, it would also likely hibernate.
