I regularly attend the C-bus show as it is only about 45 min. away. I was thinking of checking out a different one just because I have only been to 1 venue. Is it worth the extra drive ( 2 hrs) to check out the Indy show.

I think in general Columbus is better.
The main one is there will be different vendors at the Indy show.
Almost no outside Ohio vendors attend the Ohio shows now because of the restrictions placed on them. Everyone wanting to bring reptiles into the State of Ohio has to have health certifactes for each speices. Most people do not want to spend large amount of money to do this, not knowing if the animal(s) will sell or not.
Indy, on the other hand does not have this restriction. We have vendors that come from numerous states, like Michigan, Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama, Missouri, Nebraska, and even OHIO!
For the most part, what you will see will be different people selling different animals you won't see at the Ohio show.
What about #'s are the shows comparable in size? Thanks
N/A
I agree you will see many different vendors between the 2 shows! I do both shows! The one big difference is the venues- the Indy show is a larger ,more well lit building! Also the Indy show provides 8' tables instead of 6' tables.
I may be opening a can of worms here- BUT - both shows have a good attendance-although the Columbus show is down because of the "new" Cleveland show! The problem w/ the monthly shows seems to be that the general public is looking for something "new" in reptiles & the "only" things that are new are the VERY expense new morphs!! What I am trying to say is there is nothing new for the general public that is affordable -the show is every month & they have seen the same thing month after month!!
So YES attenance is good overall but not as many buyers!! AND in part the economy is not that great either!!
OK-OK I am not sure if I feel off my soap box or if I am stepping down!!
EVERYONE HAVE A HAPPY & SAFE HOLIDAY SEASON
Thanks
