awesome snake..............i have my eye set on getting some oneday.
The litrature on chironius and some of the other South American whipsnakes states that like lizards theit tails will detatch! I found that hard to beleive but if you pay close attention to pictures in books and on line you will notice stubby tails. I do not think they regenerate. Do you breed these. I work with Pseustes, Parrot Snakes and the like.
I don't breed them and that specimen is a recent import and I have the parrot snakes also and several rear fanged stuff you can see under my post name in the photo gallery.
