An emaciated looking specimen of Chironius.

You correct in that is is indeed a Chironius, however was asking what kind of species it might be. They are what might be consider keel-backed snakes as I think that all Chironius species have a somewhat raised looking spine. This particular specimen is a fresh import with a stuck on shed and/or it's going into shed, however it's not at all emaciated, but perhaps dehydrated as it drank for a long time when I received it yesterday directly from the crate from Surinam.
