Here's a pic of my 05 female Great Plains Ratsnake, that I received today from Don Soderberg. She is southern Oklahoma locality. These emoryi's are very robust critters.

Last shot, and thanks for looking.

Very nice! What will it look like as an adult? I have seen adults on the internet, but want to know how Don's strains will look as I didn't see a pic of it on his website.
Isn't Don great! I bought my Leucistic Texas Rat from him and will be purchasing a corn morph or two from him this next season.

3 Corns - Squall (Normal), Freya (Normal), Peyton (Amel)
2 Florida Kings - Thor & Lilith
1 Leucistic Texas Rat Snake - MacLeod
I think as adults they look pretty simular to when they are hatchlings. My guess is any amount of change will vary between bloodlines, localities, etc. I believe the saddles on mine may lighten up slightly as an adult, but I'm not positive on that.

I like the nice spearpoint, like corns, and it's got large blotches like corns, only a little darker than this south TX form. I think your emoryi already look a lot like slowinskii. I'd love to see some emoryi from Arkansas and s. MO....
TC

Well this spring I will have to collect some S. Mo for you to look at
-----
0.1 Snow Corn "Hope"
1.0 Ball Python "Wilson" (Castaway)
1. Orange Albino Black Ratsnake "Chunk" (Goonies)
.1 Orange Albino Black Ratsnake "Peaches"
0.0.1 Mexican Black Kingsnake "Onyx"

Well alright. Hardly anyone is working Arkansas or Missouri for emoryi. This species really need some work to show the variation better. Thanks...Terry

Yes, I did notice mine has an almost perfect spearpoint. As far as slowinskii goes, I happen to have one one order, so I'll post some pics when I receive him. It will be interesting to see the differences and similarities between the two.

Thanks Brian. Yea, I think I have a pretty good looking emoryi if I say so myself. I've always loved the earth tone colors on these guys. Emoryi rats & prairie kings both have a certain look about them that has a strong appeal to me. I also have a Kisatchie Cornsnake (E.slowinskii) on order. Brazos Valley, Texas locality.
Let's see, just purchased a Prairie King, Great Plains Rat, in addition to a Kisatchie Corn coming soon! Yea, I'd say my wifes treating me good this Christmas.
