Last year we've bought a male V.tristis orientalis. Since then we've been looking for a female for him. This week I was offerd an offspring couple V.tristis orientalis for a good price and I couldn't resit.

So here are some pic's of our new Redheads

But if anyone knows another female that is for sale please contact me at: info@rodysdragons.nl

I've got them from a reptile shop in Tilburg Holland. The other male I've bought last year also came from them.

This is offspring from Tjechië.

We are breeders from Holland and we defenetly hope that 1 is a female.

Ps we're are you going to buy yours?

those are awesome! I had been thinking of getting some or some v. T. Tristis once I get my acanthurus down. I love dwarf varanids so much. Goodluck with yours. They are real stunners!

Being that you are located in Holland, I would suggest contacting Vincent Den Breejen(owner of http://www.varanus.nl), as he keeps and breeds V. tristis, and is located in Holland too. I believe he has eggs incubating at the moment from his V. t. orientalis, if I'm not mistaken.

As for breeders here in the US, you will not be able to legally export these animals from the states back to Holland, due to the restrictions that the USFWS has put in place regarding Australian fauna, so I would search around the European Union for a female. But like I said above, Vincent would be a good person to contact.

Good Luck!

Hello,

I've allready have contact had contact with vincent but I'm keeping all options open...

I don't know how hard it is to export animals out of the US but I've got some contacts that might make it possible.

And if not it's always nice to get in contact with fellow keepers off certain species.

Greetings

Erik
