Do you notice it too?

Some of the photos in the classified section look like they have had the editing tool taken to them? Its really easy to bring up that yellow on the pastel or over saturate the photo to make the blushing more intense.

Be careful...they are out there!

I've heard of this...are there any examples that anyone can post? I'd be curious to see.

That desert pastel was close, but I think it was a photoshopped job.

I have noticed a few pics of axanthics that had a background without color as well.

i woud recomend, if you doubt the color is real that you get in contact with the owner, and ask them to send you a recent photo with a color pallet from a hardware store beside it, if they get defensive, or make excuses, be skeptical and see the snake first.
you will be able to tell on the color pallet if it has been photoshopped, unless they are really good.
if you are really skeptical, ask for a specific companies color pallet, and get the same one yourself, this is where home depot comes in handy, same colors across all the stores.

Naw. Just ask them to include a roll of lifesavers in the image.

However, you will find it offends the seller and he wont respond. But then again, who cares? If they photoshop their animals who would buy from them anyway?

You're taking for granted with a program like Photoshop, they do not need to change the entire picture. it easy to change even a few pixels.
The only safeguard is to know who your buying from or at least get checkable references... and check them!

I remember seeing an ad for an Axanthic that I swore was just changed from color to monochrome... But hey, what do I know, I mean, this is only my first season breeding (but many many other seasons of graphic design..).
