Stripe

DavidKendrick Dec 16, 2005 05:59 PM

I am so excited to finally have one, I have drooled over this pic in a Boa Book since I was a kid, and now I finally have one of my own. Of all the boas I have owned and currently own, this little guy is my favorite. Below is a pic of the Pic in the Boa book I have drooled over for years, and below that is a pic I just took of my little striper.

I recently set up a little website, and my wife and I have been throwing around the idea to call ourselve's something, so when we go to the shows we will have a name people might remember, This year we hope to make it to several of the local shows, like Eugene, and I chose Executive Reptiles. Still working on everything, but for us everything is a slow process....LOL.

Is that a Khal stripe? I ask cause you see tons of Khal striped babys for sale but not many of them look like this. Like striped albinos not many that I've seen are all that striped. I would love for something as nice as yours to pop out of my stipe albino breedings I have planned for next year. Great looking animal. Rich

WOW..Those are really nice, there was 15 totally striped boas out of that litter? Thats amazing, I would love to see more pics of them. Congrats on producing such amazing stripers, Like I said I am not sure if my stripe is genetic, it was produced from to normal appearing adults, and the whole litter was striped to some degree, only a few where totally striped. I am not holding my breath that he is, I am just so excited to finally have a striped one. Thanks for sharing pics..

Did you produce these? If so do you have pics of the parents? I was wondering if you or anybody you know of has ever produced an animal with that degree of stripeing from a het to minor striped breeding or is it something that is line bred like the babys with the most stripeing bred to eachother an so on. Regardless you have some outstanding animals I would love to make some like that. Rich
