bowl feeding

shortbusreject Dec 17, 2005 07:51 AM

i was wondering how to bowl feed a cham? my flapneck right now free feeds on his crickets in his cage because i thought it would be better for him to hunt his food. so feeding him any type of worms (meal, silkie, horn etc) is pretty hard without them hiding. any suggestions?

Put them in the bowl and hang it lower than his usual basking height, eventually he will see them squiggling (hehe) around. After a while he will know where the bowl is hung, or recognize it as food, and you can put it anywhere.
