Someone asked... (sorry kind of long)

JeffGray Dec 17, 2005 12:48 PM

for this about a week or two ago.
That's when I was able to elbow my way by my 16 year old & get to the computer to post some other pics.
It was a request for a pic of the golden sunglow.
I can't get one now because he is out on maneuvers
If you don't know about him, here goes.
When I proved out the original super salmon het albino, there was a single sunglow that had light, not dark orange saddles.
Kind of plain looking compared to his more colorful saddled & tailed siblings.
But he was odd in that his background color was not cream colored like the others, it was gold.
Well he never did really develop dark saddles but his over all golden background color kept getting better.
This will be my 4th year producing sunglows but I have never gotten another gold one.
Almost the same story applies to a single golden salmon het albino from that litter.
I once sold her for a couple of thousand dollars & was blessed enough to buy her back. As a breedable adult she is still light & gold.
I really hope that one of these breed this year because I love the gold babies.
Sorry so long , that teenager is getting tougher & harder to fight for the computer. I've gotta bounce, I hear her coming with an attitude

Here is the adult sibling golden salmon het albino.
She is still light & gold with a purple streak running all the way down her body. I didn't really get that to show up well. Dang flash.

That thing is Knock dead gorgeous, and I can relate to prying young'ns away for some equal puter time. I have three teenage boys. If you ever notice, most of my posts are late night things LOL.

would my female be considered a nice gold albino het stripe or just a kick a$$ albino het stripe? Remember she is not a sunglow. How big was he in the pic? She's about to come up on six feet in the pic and still looks about the same now at over six feet. Either way I love the looks of these guys when they do pop up. Awesome looking sunglow Jeff.

WOW! He is BOTH.
The sunglow isn't from the striped bloodline.
I do have some though.
Here is a quick drawer shot of one.
Tell me... Is yous a demon animal like mine ??? HE "HATE" ME!

WoW,
I thought for sure the sunglow had some stripe line in him. As for my female, she is actualy very gentle which I love cause I enjoy taking her out. She does get a little "eager" once she smells food in the air but other than that she is very calm. Doesn't it always seem like the nicest most stand out boas in your collection have the most additude? For me it does with the exception of this girl. Or maybe they're just love bites LoL!?
