New Cage for GTP

igordog Dec 18, 2005 01:16 AM

Okay, I'm looking to get two new tanks for my two adult GTPs...

What enclosures do you guys recommend? What are your favorites, and why?

I'm not into racks, and since I've only two GTPs they aren't really needed anyway.

Ideally, I'd like a tank with a front opening door, for easier maintainability....

I recently got several terrestrial cages from boaphileplastics.com.... and I'm very happy with those, but their arboreal cages don't seem too roomy....

What do you guys think?

Actually, the 234A tank from boaphileplastics doesn't look too cramped for an adult GTP, does it?

That might be the ticket, unless you disagree on size or have a better tank in mind that you think I should look at.

Love my vision 222. It's not too heavy, is plenty large and completely waterproof. Reasonably priced too.

You can also check out barrs cages. They have a 24x24x24 for only 150.00. I have a smaller cage from them that I used for my little one and it held heat and humidty really good.

I love my BARRS cages, You can't beat the price and his customer service is great. He will do custom jobs also. You don't need giant sized cages to get things done.

Jim Scharphorn (PVC cages) makes great chondro cages in many different sizes.
