UVA bulb?

I was wonderin if a UVA bulb is ok for ball pythons? what is the difference between it and UVB?

Ball pythons do not require uv lighting. If you really want to spent the extra cash on lighting then go ahead. I don't think either one of the uv bulbs will harm the snake as long as it's kept in the correct temperature range.
