How many crickets do collards usually eat at one time? I forgot since they went into hibernation. I was asking because this morning my female ate seven crickets. And she's not very big.

It always differs, some will nab 5- 6 some are pigs and will eat theirs and steal out of others mouths , Some days they are not as hungry.

I do not worry if they want to eat alot, only if they lose weight , or do not want to eat at all. Be glad shes got such a good appetite

Nice to see you , been quiet around here with Christmas coming and lizards brumating !

Thanks Eve. Later she ate two more crickets that where supposed to be for the male and a couple of mealworms. I imagine she won't be as hungry tomorrow. I did manage to get some crickets to the male.

Yes it will be very exciting! Since she does have an odd color pattern I wonder what the orange will look like if she does get it?
