it's not good because cat food is made for cats. They put in something to control urinary tract infections which is pretty common in cats. I've read before that you can use dog food.

one time i ran out of food and tried to feed them dry dog food and they wouldn't touch it.

Reptical makes a dry food for bearded dragons. I only use it if i am away from the house for a couple of days

I wouldn't recommend catfood for bearded dragons. For one thing it has a too high protien and fat content and not enough vegetible content. If you are in a pinch for insects for dragons under a year old you can feed them small amounts of finally chopped (and cooked) chicken or turkey. OR chicken/turkey babyfood. For adults w ho can go a week without insects of any kind (though they should get about 10% of their daily intake in insects, or 2-3 insect meals a week) you will be fine not feeding any for a week or two, till you can get ahold of some form of insects.

Another thing about catfood and dogfood is it is very full of perservetives and other such chemicals and dyes that these can be problematic for your dragon.
