Yellow Belly Question

djsreptiles05 Dec 18, 2005 07:17 PM

I have the oppotunity to trade off on a "yellow belly". This snake has the light head marker, the flames running up from the belly, and very yellow sides running down to the belly. The only thing I am noticing is that there's some but not alot of the granitish markings along the belly scales. My question is...can a yellow belly have reduced amounts of the granite belly markers and still be a yellow belly? I will try to post pics later.

I have seen "possible" yellow bellies at show for $50 for a baby male and $500 for an adult huge female......

Yes, i have seen on more then one ocassion from proven CB lines granits flecking through out the belly scales. It is very possible. If you could post a pic later then we could give you a more definite answear.
