what is a speckled caiman?

I saw an ad on in the classifieds about a species of dwarf caiman. do they mean spectacled caiman?

They are different. Although I do see the ad that refers to "speckled" as a species of dwarf. Scratch that.

Don't get me wrong. It is not that I do not know what species of caiman there are. It is just that some one selling crocodilians on the internet ought to know what they are called. It seems like another example of "i buy for cheap and sell for profit and don't give a rat's butt about what the animals are."

if a dealer doesnt give you the scientific name then I wouldnt buy but thats just me, I actually use scientific name 90% of the time ... no confusion that way!!
