Nigriceps Nose Rub

Aka2212 Dec 19, 2005 02:59 PM

Hi,

I got my Boiga nigriceps (WC) home last week and everything has been going fine, so far. But last night one of them appearantly began rubbing it's nose against the cage wall, and now has a small wound on the nose.
Any suggestions to how i can make it stop doing this?

I keep them humid in small plastic cages for quarantine. they have plenty of hiding places as well as a large waterbowl.
They have been tested positive for hookworms and are being treated with Panacur. Could this have any effect on the nose rubbing?

Kind Regards
Jakob

Hello Jakob,

The only way you can stop this (in my opinion) is by putting the animals in larger enclosures.
