Dose anyone know size requierments?
My Research and Collection
they say u can squeeze them into 4' x 2' but 6' x 3' is more appropriate.
Thats good to hear. My plans for my new enclosure mesure 8' long by 3' wide and 3' tall. The hight dose not include any light fixtures. That is 8X3X3 of living space for the snack. Curently she is housed in a 30G all glass aquarium but she is only about 18" long so it should suit her fine for now. I am still chewing my head off with ideas for her new enclosure.Oh shoot I must have forgoten to mention. I would like to keep a pair of them as soon as the wife alows me another hundred bucks. Should I double it to 16X6X6 for the pair or do you think the 8X3X3 would be sufice for a pair? Thanks a million.

You won't need that much space for an adult BCC. A 6x2x2 is plenty of size so you may want to consider making a double stack enclosure in that size area or perhaps make 2 6x3x2 one ontop of the other. The heating and humidity requirements become more difficult to maintain when you increase the size of the enclosure.

while Randy T is right about keeping an eye on heat and humidity there really is no reason to not make a cage as big as your means.
It is unarguable that based on the expert research done by myself and many of my dear friends and colleagues that when establishing a Peruvian or any other BCC of either gender I can assure you that with very conclusive evidence they absolutely will not turn to you and say "this cage is too big." That is right, I have over 1300 hours of documented recordings, both in zoological labs and pet stores alike, with peruvians and many other organisms of the family boidea definitely not saying, nor repeating, nor uttering, nor hand signing the words "this cage is too big." If you don't believe me you try this simple experiment at home. Put your ear to the cage with complete silence and wait. just wait. You should have plenty of waiting time throughout this holiday season.
Anywayz, The more the merrier, but it will cost more than that extra $100 your wife will allow for you. By the way where would you fit a cage of that size?
thanx
donny
I plan on constructing it myself and it will go in my snake room of course. We recently moved and had an extra large room left over and while thinking what to do with it "HMMMMM Ofice? nope already have one, Guest Room? Nope dont want an guests,,,,,,, SNAKE ROOM" Wasnt to hard to figure out considering I keep 20 some od lizards and curently 5 snakes. The Boa Enclosure will take up a good share of one wall.
