BEARDED BABY PROBLEMS... HELP

ISH Jul 24, 2003 12:45 AM

OKAY, we were unaware of the baby beardies having to absorb there yolk and we took out one of them too soon. So far it has not absorbed its yolk. We seperated it from the other babies and we are unsure as to what to do next. IS there anything we should do to aid the process?? We have some water in there with him and he keeps sitting in it, is that okay to do??? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

you mean he's out of the egg with the tiny egg sack attached? if so, just keep him on clean moist papertowels back inside the incubator with the high humidity and leave him be for awhile... he should be fine.. once you see the sack drop you can put him in with the other guys... some people put him in sooner, but i like to wait.
