is it really necessary??

Is a flourescent light really necessary for uro's? I was looking through the posts here and there and saw posts about flourescent lighting... The breeder I bought my 2 uro's from never said anything about a flourescent light, so I simply never used one. I have of course been using a 150 watt bulb.. but I was just wondering if a flourescent light was really necessary.

THANKS

Go up top where it says Care sheets/FAQs/Features click on it. Then scroll down to "Uromastyx page" you'll find lots of care sheets suggesting Uv bulbs.(florescents)

UNLESS he's exposed to natural sun light regularly.
