Did anyone go to the Arlington TX herp show?

stevenxowens792 Dec 20, 2005 01:48 PM

Just curious if anyone made it to that show? Do those small shows ever have good vendors? I noticed most shows lately in Texas seem to be getting smaller and smaller. (Except Houston)

Best Wishes to everyone,

Steven Owens

Steve,

I go to Randall and Bonnie's San Antonio show whenever it is here. It usually has a respectable selection of vendors and a decent variety of animals. It isn't as large as the ETHS fall shows, of course, but then again even that show pales compared to the Orlando show.

I think the frequent regional shows are good, both for vendors and buyers.

I have never been to the Arlington show.

I went, there were about 18 venders. Not one grayband though, I was looking for 1.0 blairs to pair with my 05. I did pick up a mate for my splendida and my pueblan. It is a small show but it's a small room, so it was about as big as it could be. There didn't seem to be many customers walking around though, I think they need to advertise better. I knew about it from this site, but the general public that might like to buy a new pet, I don't know how they would hear about it.
