They had gone in search of a vegetable and never bargained to find - a 100kg python - in the Paya Kg Keriam area, Tutong, on Saturday. Awg Abd Rani bin Hj Md Jaya and Awg Harun bin Awg Hadi were about to pick a certain type of vegetable (called "Lamiding"
that grows profusely in the Paya area, and stumbled on the huge snake. The python, measuring some 20 feet, was found in a weakened state, seemingly to have just swallowed a prey. It was handed over to the appropriate authorities.
