...a Eastern eating a 3.5' Diamondback in Pasco County, FL a few months ago?
Pasco Co. is north of Tampa; the wife of this guy I know came across an Eastern - a classic looking Eastern x floridana cross from that area, where they get so big and what some people call "Suwannee River Kings" - killing and eating a D'Back.
If he didn't post these pics, let me know because they are aweseome...a rare event to come across in the wild; she was working around a well and took some shots that show the fangs (up close) totally buried in this Eastern and two others showing the fight and then the last one showing the last 8" of the D'Back going down the hatch...there's blood everywhere and you can tell it's a wild Eastern. She took like 10 photos, but only 4 came out, but boy are they wicked looking! A must see.
