Where are the Piedbalds?

leucistic_cobra Dec 20, 2005 09:41 PM

I've been interested in purchasing a Pied at the lowest price. I'm not looking to breed the snake, but rather keep it as part of my collection of rare looking reptiles. I have not been able to find a great number of dealers selling them and I'm also wondering what the price is currently for a piedbald?

I've seen two females for sale for about $5,500, but one didn't have much white. Anyway, i'm just wondering if someone has more info about these beauties.

Thanks

Watch out for those Ringer ones, they have a variable white ring around them but it's not inheritable. Well since your not going to breed it this might suit you!

You can pick up a female for less than a male. Female hatclings run from 3k, maybe a little less, t0 over 6k depending on amount of white.
They are out there if you hunt around. Not posted much on the clasifieds much but they are out there. Check out Prehistoric Pets. They have a few to check out on there sight I believe. Give Peter Kahl a ring. I think he may have millions of them.

Try Dan at dwherp.com He had some good looking ones for a decent price. I also just wanted one for the collection, not breeding. Dan has been great to deal with, also got the pastel from him.
