FINALY, I found a baby male papuan. Been looking for a few years and I got one. They are so cute when they are little!! Full of fake tough guy attitude too, lol!! Hope you like the pics.

Yup, I noticed that too, slight hisses, huffs and puffs, different from other snakes. Cool snakes though!!! Here's an old pic of my female when she was about a year old. Need some new ones of her, she never wants to sit still and is close to 7' now. Hope you all enjoy the pics.

I have a 9 foot female papuan, and just bought a 5 foot male. Do you know any reliable sources that i can check for breeding this species?

Male is probably too small yet. I think Kevin at NERD has bred them, as I believe the Barkers have. There's talk of 2 breeding seasons. My male has shown no interest in the female.

My female. 12', 36lbs. They need higher humidity than most pythons, and she seems to get a resp infection every year because of the dryness. Next year I'll let them both have cages in another area where she and the male can have it wetter. She's in a 6' Neo, as is the male, but I have a 8' one waiting for her. Male is 12', 20lbs.
