I have a golden tegu and the femoral pores are Very prominant, with dark spots. I know thats how you tell on a lot of lizards, but does it work on tegus? Can any one guess?

If it is still a juvenile, like it looks in the pic, you wont be able to accurately sex it visually for a few more months, you can guess, I think male but it is only a guess based on nothing but the fact it is tegu

It is pretty young to tell the sex yet but I'm going to guess female, just because I'm not seeing any hemipenal bulges at all in the base of the tail. Just a guess.
