Is there any way to tell the difference visually between a female and male ball python?

Probe it, is the only way to tell. One of my pastel breeder males has hardly any spurs right now. Smaller than any of my females.

Everting the Hemipenes or scent glands is even more accurate than probing, there is no doubt when you see one or the other.
