so now that i know the bigger crickets will eat the smaller crickets....what do i do to keep my cricket supply from dwindling so quickly? i can't exactly lecture them....

LOL get used egg crates pile them in your container, toilot tissue old rolls when done, paper towel card board rolls, things they can have in there to hide in. You must provide places like that. Thats why empty egg crates are great they can all hide from one another in those little egg compartments !!!

Sorry if you already said this, but are you "gut loading" them?? Feeding and watering them? If you provide food/moisture they will be less likely to eat eachother. Those little boogers can eat quite a bit too. Good Luck!

I use this stuff that's like cricket water, but you make it yourself. I put dye in it so I can see it (it's clear). But, it doesn't dye the crickets!!! LOL

Maybe I should use more dye?? LOL
