A Christmas gift for myself...PLEASE READ...Opinions WANTED!

So I have decided to buy myself a Boaphile cage for my ball python. She is almost 24" and ~225g. My question is what size should I buy?

I'm considering three models:
421D - 48"x24"x12" = 57 gallons / 1152 sq inches
321D - 36"x24"x12" = 43 gallons / 864 sq inches
221D - 30"x24"x12" = 36 gallons / 720 sq inches

She is currently in a 10 gallon glass tank, and is happy. She has never skipped a meal. I would like to buy a nice cage that she can be in throughout adulthood.

For comparison:
10 gallon tank = 20"x10"x12" = 200 sq inches

So, I am thinking the 221D would be good, but I want your input.
Please help me decide!

Thanks.

If you spend thousands on dollars on a snake, you are a moron.
Ball python prices are asinine.

The 221D would be fine, but I like more room. I'd personally go with the 421D

OK, I went a little overboard for a minute there , but then I only own two Ball Pythons and I'm sure they'd love the extra space. The 321 would probably be a good choice though.

The 421 is probably overdoing it... I have one for my blood python, and couldn't imagine a little old ball python in there all by themselves... but then, if you like to spoil your pets, why not???

Personally, I'd go for the 321. Perfect midsize cage. Plenty of room to stretch and grow, without being too big. Sometimes I lose my 4 foot blood in her cage (buried in substrate or behind the water bucket) so be prepared to do some digging when you get your baby in her new cage!!!

Boaphiles are awesome by the way, good choice. And definately get the upgraded hardware... its sweet!

Any other opinions???

I'm still thinking that the 221D is the one I am gonna get. Anyone think that is a bad idea?

just keep in mind that your snakes will grow, when it is 3-4 ft long, the 221 will be too small for 2 snakes, their hides will take up most of the bottom space, and there wont be much room for them to move around.
if you can afford to buy another one in 2 years, by all means go with the 221 but i would buy once and fore all, besides, if you put in lots of hides all over, the snake wont feel uncomfortable with all the extra space
i keep my 2 yearlings in a 4 ft by 21" by 18" neodesha, and they are very happy with it. they never miss a feeding, and like to move from hide to hide overnight.
