Impatiently waiting for my first clutch this season - day 35

DaveRiley May 18, 2003 06:41 PM

I have this gravid female that is 35 days post shed...the waiting is killing me. She is a poss. het. albino that was bred to a poss. double het. for snow male. What's the longest you've had to wait for eggs ? Hope the others are more considerate and keep to MY schedule, LOL.
Here's a pic from one of last years litters. This is a great time of year. It's like Christmas morning... the anticipation, the wait for eggs, the two month watch while they cook , then watching as the little guys emerge.
One of the nice things about projects that involve hets. and poss. hets., is the experience of finally seeing the goal poke it's little head out of the egg.

I have never been much of an Axanthic fan, but that Axanthic hatchling is to die for. It's a really fine specimen, screamer IMO. Good luck with this season and may you hatch more screamers. hehe
