I just wanted to congratulate Lyndsay and Lucy on their successful hatching! It's great to see that someday because of people like you we may all have the opportunity to buy captive bred animals and leave the wild ones in the wild.

Most of the lizards I own are captive bred. I always feel a little guilty when I buy wild caught animals. I always wonder what they've been through at my expense. I knew when I bought my geyri trio that I would be breeding them and learned all that I could about incubating etc. (not much was out there!). I feel good now to know that I will be contributing to both people being able to get them captive bred (these babies are all spoken for so I'm not posting here to advertise, by the way) and to keeping the species alive if they become endangered. So I know that whatever trauma King Cayenne, Pumpkin and Lemon Pepper have endured they are making a contribution to their species and it is for the good and that's a great thing! They're in great health now, of course, and live outside for the summer. For anyone who hasn't tried it, it's amazing what color increase I got moving them outside (the females primarily). -Lucy
