gooofycivic Dec 22, 2005 04:16 PM

i was reading markus jayne's websites and it says when a female is building follicles she seeks the cool end of the tub....would this be the best time to introduce the male w her because she she has bred twice already....so if i breed him again with her does that mean she is going to go ahead and ovulate....i checked her temperature w my temp gun and shez at 73-75 degrees....thanks for reading

Keep introducing the male until you see ovulation, or you see the signs that it is imminant. She may not ovulate for several months and if you stop putting them together now, you may greatly lessen your chance of getting fertile eggs. When the female has ovulated, many males will lose interest anyway. You can't do much damage by letting them continue to breed, but you may see negative results if you separate them early. Good luck.
