Unbeknownst to me, my striped anerythristic (het. ghost) escaped his cage.
I found him today...
on the porch outside my house...
frozen solid.
My guess is he got out, evaded my cats, and made his way outside. Seeing as it has been in the teens in CT this past week, he didn't get far.
My only question...
why would he head outside? I mean, I have baseboard heaters set at 70 degrees at the moment. Why would he forsake warm and dark to go outside?
And why would he even get that far without searching for heat? My downstairs hallway is like...35-40 at night.
All in all it's upsetting...but damn he was dumb.
