I have wanted one of these little guys for about ten years . This week I finally got a c.b. 05 .It is the coolet little Tortoise. I am not keeping it on the pellets these pics are form the breeder. I am thinking of topsoil? Any suggestions on substrate? I dont want to use mulch because I am afraid if the animal trying to eat it. Thanks for any info and MERRY CHRISTMAS to everyone!!!!!!

Nice Spider. Is it arachnoides, brygooi, or oblonga? Who was the breeder?

I have found cypress mulch to be best.
They love to dig down into the mulch to find a humid hide spot. I've had no problems with them eating it over the last 3 years...

Thank you for the info. It was hatched by Justin Mitcham and it is arachnoides. MERRY CHRISTMAS
